This policy applies to the AI product recommendations, adapted prompts, API price comparisons and cost estimates provided through UseWhichAI at usewhichai.com.
2. Information we process
2.1 Task descriptions
Your browser may classify a task locally. In local mode, the task text is not sent to us or to a third party.
2.2 API cost inputs
Request count, average input/output tokens and context requirements are calculated in your browser by default and are not stored as account data.
2.3 Basic visit and device information
Only after you consent to analytics may the analytics service process visit time, page, referrer, browser, device type, approximate location and cookie or similar identifiers. We do not intentionally send task text, prompt content or API usage inputs to analytics.
3. DeepSeek-powered features
Your task description is forwarded server-side to the DeepSeek API for task classification. DeepSeek is also called when you explicitly generate an adapted prompt or ask AI to estimate API usage. The website never holds or exposes the DeepSeek API key.
- Do not submit passwords, API keys, non-public business secrets or unnecessary sensitive personal information.
- The server does not log raw task text; operational logs contain status and timing information.
- If classification or prompt generation is unavailable, the website falls back to local rules or templates where possible.
4. Baidu Analytics
We use Baidu Analytics to understand traffic, sources, device distribution and product interactions. The analytics script loads only after you consent. Choosing “Necessary only” prevents it from loading.
Product events may include view switches, recommendation submissions, prompt actions and API calculations. Event labels contain only a task category or model identifier, not the task text.

6. Security and retention
We apply safeguards appropriate to the service, including HTTPS, server-side secret management, access control, rate limiting, input limits and log redaction. Information is retained only for as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law.
7. Your choices and rights
You may refuse analytics and clear your browser’s site data to reset a saved choice. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of personal information we may hold, or to raise a complaint.
8. Children
The service is intended primarily for adults and workplace users. Children under 14 should use it only with a guardian’s consent and guidance and should not submit sensitive personal information.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when product features, third-party services or legal requirements change. Material changes will receive an appropriate notice before they take effect.
